last sunday i went to attend photography society event- travelling around kampar, this small little town just to snap photo around...lol...i had never attend a trip with the main purpose to snap photo before...thats the reason why i choose to gO even no friends wanna join me...what a pity...
yet...still manage to make a few new friends during the trip...it wasnt bad really...with two busses or people and the professional photographer from FIP to guide us during the trip...
well...this is actually part of a series of program linking one another organized recently by the club...the first activity is this trip with the title "the Theme Day"...
it was followed by the second activity which is the submission of photos taken for competition...

theme: footprint (anythg related to kampar)
first prize: rm300
second prize: rm200
third prize: rm100
8x consolation prize: rm50 each

the third and last activity is the photo exhibition in our uni heritage hall...

i attend these activities out of boredom and to bet on my luck whether i will succeed to win any of those prizes...haha...pocket money...nobody will say they want less...
okay...i took hundreds of pictures during the trip and we are required to send in 5 photos for the competition...

so i send in last friday nite...and today is the open judging by the professional photographers and two representative from canon as they are the sponsorship...so i spent two and a half hour there watching the judge gO around 22 photos for 4 rounds after the first quick elimination method for the initial 100 over photos.... woooohoooo....after the first elimination...i still have 3 photos on the final list out of 5... *cheer*...after 4 rounds of judging again and again...2 photos of mine succeed to win the consolation prize...which also means i can get rm100 for them...hahaha...
this is the first time i join photo taking competition and at least i won consolation prize...not that bad la huh....kakaz...at least i can console myself with them...and the prize won is actually the same as the third prize...

we haven get the prize yet...its just an open judging for us to see and know the result today...well...next week will be the exhibition and our photos will be on the board...

on the right is my group leader on theme day...he won the third prize for his photo...
